Nick Bio

Whether its celebrating the sincere tribute or the ultimate rock and roll, the NH songbook covers roughly some 300 songs. Starting with original material written and produced from Michael Jackson through Roy Orbison and Patsy Cline. The sound of NH features mellow dramatic narratives of unrequited love and yearning. While sharing the rock-a-billy roots of the Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley.

Nick Heward has written and performed hundreds of songs. His material is socially conscious and his debut Album “Love Me Till I’m Home” was released in 2011 to outstanding critical acclaim. “Reminiscent of a young Jackson Browne…” – Dennis D’amico. Nick was honored with a trip to the 2009 Grammy awards by the Grammy Foundation for his performance of “Mary Jane.”

Nick’s career began in 2006 when he began performing in local Phoenix night clubs and venues doing shows alongside recording artists like Tristan Prettyman, Martin Sexton, and Nils Lofgren. He was born in Tulsa Oklahoma, migrated to Northern California, and landed in Phoenix AZ.

Nick studied the classical guitar in college under guitar virtuosso Chuck Hulihan. He has worked as a guitarist/back up vocalist for 2009 Arizona Idol Kaitlin Jones, country singer Bree Anna Rothermel, RnB singer Giovanni Amato, Jazz singer Tim Doyle Jr as well as others.
In 2013 Nick was chosen as one of the featured artists on “The Howling Coyote Tour”.

Outside of music Nick loves to play basketball. Nick worked privately for a year with a professional basketball trainer and played on a semi-professional team in 2011.

In 2014 Nick began building his home studio where he plans to record his next solo record. Let the good times roll.
